Somalia: Audio File with photos, CPT Corsello was in Somalia January-May 1994, MARS morale call to mother in Illinois.  There are two phone calls in the audio. Calls were made by hopping the signal from Somalia-Germany-either England, Iceland, Newfoundland-and then somewhere in Maine or Massachusetts then patched into phone system to Illinois. Cute note: Carter was trying to make a joke with his mom that he didn't understand why he would need to send flowers to his girlfriend for valentines day.  It backfired on him because on second call she said she cancelled flowers. Ugh. Poor girl. 13m
